Well as you know we have been getting together with my buddies Jade, Cooper, Peter, and Mason and our mamas since I was just 3 weeks old. We decided to have a mommy, I mean baby, playdate reunion last month. It was really fun to see how big we have all grown now that we are over a year old. We are all walking now, we have a lot of fun watching our moms try to chase us!
Today mommy and I had a playdate with Jade, Mason, Cooper, Peter, and their mommies. We all had so much fun. It was really cool to see all my besties sitting up and even army crawling around. We have all been friends since I was 3 weeks old (I am the youngest, and Peter who is 3 weeks older than me is the oldest), so we have come a long way. Before when we had playdates they were more like sleep dates and all of our mommies would just hang out. Now we like to interact and play too, especially with each other! Our mommies kept having to remind us to "be gentle" because it is SO FUN to poke eyes, tug on ears, and pull hair. You can check out some pictures mama took of us all playing here.
Today mom's friend Brandace came over with one of my besties, Cooper. Cooper gave me my first truck. He has one too and loves his, so he told his mom it would be a great gift. Sure enough, I love it. Cooper seemed a little confused about why I was playing with his truck, but he was a good sport and we shared. I also tried to share his binky, but our moms drew the line there. Brandace also makes amazing brownies, my mommy and daddy really loved those!
Here I am (on the right) doing tummy time with my buddies Mason and Peter! We meet once a week to hang out. Mostly it is so Mom can hang out with her other mommy friends, but we boys have a good time too! My buddy Cooper couldn't make it this week and we really missed him!
Last Saturday we went out with some friends of ours who have a baby girl that is just 10 days older than Jonathan. Our thoughtful hubbies decided it was the mommies' turn to relax and have a beer, so the dads gave our babies their bottles! I love the burp cloths over the shoulders and the sunglasses!
