We finally had a chance to go meet Sean's new neice who is now four months old. She is a real cutie, easy going and smiley as you can see from the pictures. Jonathan was a great cousin, handing Sean Tavia's bottle so he could feed her. You can check out the pictures here.
Today was our cousin Julianna's 1st birthday party. It was really nice to see the family and catch up with everyone. It was a very multicultural event, there was a piñata, hula dancing, and Philipino food done Luau style. There was also a highly competitive game of bocci ball. We are a lucky group to be part of such a diverse family! Check out the pictures here.
This weekend my cousin David came out to visit from Lousisiana with his family. I have not seen David for years, so it was really nice to get to catch up. His wife and kids are beautiful. It was a great mini family reunion, we had a great time with fun family and yummy food! You can check out the pictures here.
Last weekend we went to visit Grammy and Papa. I had a lot of fun playing with them and just hanging out in general. I miss them already!
Yesterday we went with Abeuelita and Grandad to the USS Midway Museum. Dada and Grandad had such a good time looking at all of the airplanes we ended up staying ALL. DAY. LONG. We all had a good time, I think Dada and Grandad would go back again today if they could, after all we only got to visit two of the three decks of the ship. You can check out the pictures here.
Uncle Scott and his girlfriend Carol came to visit me back in June. We had a lot of fun, we went to Del Mar, the zoo, basically all over the place. We had a really great time. We also played badmitton at a friend of Mama and Dada's. We lost all three of the birdies we were playing with on the neighbors' roofs. Oopsies!
Here are Jonathan's Baptism photos. I got some great pictures of the family, including closeups of the grandparents. Despite it being way past his naptime Jonathan was very boisterous at his baptism. He was very energetic and perhaps not as calm and quiet as many of the other babies. However, as soon as the priest poured the water over his head, he looked at me and just closed his eyes and fell asleep. I guess the water was just too much for his little self to handle and he needed a break from all the people. He was very cute. One of the most amazing parts of the baptism was that Jonathan was in a baptism gown that has been passed down for four generations. Jonathan's great-great grandmother made the gown for his great grandmother's brother to wear at his baptism. Jonathan's great grandma, Grandad, Mama, Uncle Michael, and many other family members have also worn the gown at their baptisms. It was a real honor to be able to wear it as it is 98 years old.

After riding the merry go round and the train today at the San Diego Zoo Sean proclaims to Jonathan, "Alrighty buddy. I sound like my Dad but we're outta cash. Time to do something else".
> Well Jonathan has clearly not been very diligent about parking in end spots and taking care when rounding corners in his new race car. He already has a ding in the black and white trim of his fender paint! Uncle Scott needs to come back down and give it a touch up.
