U2 on June 6th!
I just bought tickets to U2 on June 6th, a week and a half before the baby is due. Sean is terrified that the baby will be born at Anaheim Stadium. I on the other hand think it would be great, I will get to meet Bono!

Merry Xmas from Spoon
Eileen and I decided to go out for some good holiday fun. Spoon headlined an evening of bands from all over the place. A definate good time!

Thievery Corporation
Last weekend Sean and I went to see the Thievery Corporation concert at the Greek Theater in Berkeley. We fell in love with their music after watching the movieGarden State when we first started dating. Thievery Corp's hit "Lebanese Blonde" was featured in the movie, and it was so striking I decided to buy "The Mirror Conspiracy" album, and later added more of their music to my collection.
While we were excited to see them in concert, I didn't realize that I had actually bought tickets to their Outernational Tour, which included an entire evening of amazing musicians we had never heard of. We ended up buying a CD for Argentine singer Federico Aubele, and the Greek Theater turned into a club when the Venezuelan band Los Amigos Invisibles got the entire stadium on their feet and gyrating to "Ponerte en Cuatro". It was an unbelievable night, we had a blast. Needless to say I downloaded their album from iTunes as soon as we got home. I'd love to see them again in concert, or even better book them for a house party in my backyard!
