Baby McZimm Dresser & Crib Setup

So two weekends ago Sean put together the baby's crib! We had ordered the dresser and crib about two months ago and they finally arrived. Sean actually seemed excited to prove his daddy-to-be skills and get the crib installed by himself, no need to pay the delivery guys to set it up. I started panicking a bit when the furniture was delivered, but Sean reassured me that he had the situation under control. Our friends all had very funny stories to tell about their experiences putting together their babies' cribs, it seems to be a new parent right of passage, and apparently in some cases a test of your marriage! By popular demand I decided to do a video documentation of Sean's efforts, so here is a link to the short video clip I put together to showcase Sean's spectacular work. Please note that Sean already had a boo-boo on his forehead (which has since healed), rest assured that was not inflicted during the crib installation. No fathers-to-be were harmed in the making of this movie.

Enjoy!

Hahahah!!! That was AWESOME. I was cracking up every time the camera was shaking because you were laughing. I also took note of the profusion of Apple products strewn around the place... ;) Looking good!! :D

Ha! That was a great video..I love that the camera shakes when Eileen laughs! BTW, Sean is waaaayyy nicer than someone I know putting together a crib..just sayin! But it is not over yet; when your baby is big enough to look like he is going to fall right out of the crib you need to lower the spring support! My best advice...do not tell your husband to do it quickly 30 minutes before the baby needs to go to bed. We were screaming at each other AND had a screaming tired baby in the middle trying to climb on us and the upside crib. Can you believe that the back and front of our crib is recalled so the company sent us new pieces for Jeff to put on AGAIN! We haven't done that yet....maybe next baby! The dresser is beautiful also! Oh, and how did I not know you had a blog? Too cute!

OH my, hilarious...good memories. I laughed everytime Sean said something, it seems as he was trying to keep his cool for the camera. Hey how did you get that up 3 flights of stairs? Good job video taping and the naration was superb! I loved it...will Sean be taping the birth??
